New notice regarding lab work on the left side of the New Patient Page

A note to our patients:

It has come to our attention that there may be some misunderstanding over our schedule here at the clinic, which causes some stress for a few patients who feel that our availability does not meet their personal needs.  We are not open Mondays because we are contracted to provide medical services to a private company on those days.  The revenue from that contract allows us to keep these clinic doors open.  We are open Tues Wed and Thurs 8:30 – 5:00 for patients, but because of our small staffing those days are 12 – 15 hour days for us.

If you can imagine the number of staff  in an average doctors’ office, and then remember we are wearing all those hats here.  We are the cleaning crew, the insurance clerks, the lab phlebotomist, etc., and that requires many hours of charting, research, ordering diagnostic testing, referrals with other doctors offices, pharmacy calls and much more beyond what you see as a patient when you are present.  Friday is an administrative day for us.  We read test results, add on lab tests, call doctors for referral follow ups, answer excessive stacks of mail, and close out the current week, and prepare for the one ahead.  We can only afford to run this clinic with the current staffing and that staff is working a minimum of 60 hours a week.  We love our patients.  We love to provide the best possible experience when you come here.   We try to do that with as little wait time as possible.  In rare times there may have been an emergency event that complicated our scheduling and causes a wait time.  We are sorry when that occurs.  Like with all doctors offices, if you need assistance when we are closed please use the urgent care or ER of your choice.  If you are a patient who has one of our cell phone numbers please DO NOT text or call them for refills, test results, new complaints, or medical advice during any hours.  If we are open call the clinic number only, if we are closed please follow the instructions above.  The medical facility you choose in an emergency will contact us during off hours if they feel it is necessary.   Our family time should be respected and at this time it is NOT.  We realize our schedule and availability may not suit every patient’s needs.  If you feel your medical needs can be better met in a practice with more providers or longer hours please feel free to request your records be sent to that provider.

If you are a Medicare patient please be sure you read the note on our New Patient page.  We have had some changes.

Did you know we do infusions of High Dose Vitamin C and Glutathione See our Infusion Therapy Page for more Info.

The anti-aging community is excited (by which I’m defining as medical doctors, osteopaths, nutritionists, naturopaths, holistic health professions) because glutathione IV might be one of the closest things we have to a fountain of youth because of its powerful antioxidant qualities.  They theory is that because its supreme ability to detox the liver, this slows the aging process, provides tons of energy and also helps athletes in their performance and recovery.
